IMF DAY 1

IMF day 1 (COUNTING DOWN : 10 more days)

BORING! hahaha, nothing can really bore me actually cos no matter what I'll find ways to entertain myself so when i say its really boring, i meant it!

well well, at least i've got Aliah and Irene's company.. which made things much better! too bad, tmr onwards its gonna be just me a aliah and next week it will be aliah and irene and me alone on the night shift.. oh manzzz..

i took photos with my hp! but im not sure if its appropriate to post.. ehhh..

security is real tight. overwhelming..
my in-charged asked me to come at 6.30, but was afraid of the road block so i left house at 5.45 and end up reaching damn early! 6.08! but thank God it was not long after that Aliah arrived in a cab..

oh ya security! they have his luagge checking system like those u see in the check-in counter in the airport.. we counted at the start and realised theres like 12 police officers stationed at the small hotel lobby.. its small! like half a classroom size.. can u imagine 12 officers is standing in there? with all the checking in systems.. if im e guest i wld feel intimidated. but den again, its all for the best for everyone lah.. so im not blaming them~

the hotel im based in, ive only been there twice.. not much impression so today was quite an experience for me, staying in the hotel lobby for the longest time of half the day.. seeing how the front line people work..

one thing abt this hotel, they're damn particular abt the slightest thing! though im not sure if it applies to all hotel. its like every action every motion they have something to say.. haha! like we cant sit at beside the fountain at one small corner.. we cant hang our coat over the chairs when we're not wearing it.. we cant drink at our info desk.. mind you, even mineral water in a bottle is not supposed drank.. the hotel personnel explained a few more things and justify it as "its our hotel's policy" hmm, so yeah, we're at their premises, so the only thing that is right is to abide to them.. it isn't too hard anyway! *stop complaining* haha!

we didnt do much today.. in fact, we didn't do anything? just sit there, chit chat amongst ourselves and with the other IDOs. count down to our break times! went mac for breakfast with the girls.. have been donkey years since i last had breakfast there.. yum! hotcakes. saw mich while she was on her way to Planet Travellers! GOTCHA! haha :p during lunch break, we walked back to Macs @ Marina Square again to buy coffee.. caught up with Mei & Brandon, and we decided to meet for lunch tmr.. anyone interested??

got home and sleptttttt till dinner. yummy sleep!

not a bad day afterall.. shall see how things goes tmr =) hope its been well for all u peeps!

meeting the usual bunch (Yixian, Eunice, Bert, Huiyee) for dinner at our lao di fang tmr night.. more updates if possible! cya all!

*did i mentioned i spent the whole of yest watching Steve Irwin's tribute? 11am right to 12midnight. no regrets! i enjoyed it pretty much.. ;)
